The Most Notorious Talker Runs the World's Greatest Clan Debuts on the Small Screen this October

Jaki's novel series, The Most Notorious 'Talker' Runs the World's Greatest Clan, is set to receive a television anime adaptation premiering in October. Gree Entertainment has released an English-subtitled teaser video introducing the anime's cast and staff.

For those unfamiliar, the story follows Noel, a young boy whose grandfather, the legendary hero Overdeath, is his inspiration. Despite aspiring to become the strongest seeker like his grandpa, Noel possesses the weakest support class known as "Talker." Determined to bridge the talent gap, Noel relies on his resourcefulness to carve a path to greatness. He gathers allies and forms the greatest clan, aiming to become its master. With cunning strategies, Noel leads his comrades to victory, sparing no means to achieve supremacy.

Jaki initially launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, and it has since been adapted into a manga by Yamorichan on the Comic Gardo website. Seven Seas licensed both the novel and manga series. The manga's ninth volume is set to release on April 25.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Ways of Monster Nation Manga Ends Prematurely Due to Artist's Health

Micro Magazine's Comic Ride magazine Twitter account announced the premature end of Shō Okagiri's That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: The Ways of Monster Nation spinoff manga due to the author's health issues. Despite attempts to resume serialization, it proved difficult to continue the series. Originally on hiatus with plans to resume in 2022, the manga's publication will end.

Yen Press handles the English publication of the series, which follows Framea's exploration of Tempest in search of three-star attractions while dealing with requests from Rimuru Tempest himself. From escorting demons to engaging in high-stakes aquatic activities, Framea faces various challenges in the lively world of Tempest.

The series began in 2016, with Micro Magazine releasing the eighth compiled volume in January 2021. Yen Press followed with the English release of the eighth volume in August 2022.

Meanwhile, the third season of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime is currently airing on Crunchy Roll. Scheduled for a half-year run, the show will air for two continuous cours.

Embracer Group to Split into 3 Companies

Embracer Group announced plans to split into three separate companies: Asmodee Group, Coffee Stain & Friends, and Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends. Each entity will be publicly listed, allowing them to focus on their core strategies and offer distinct equity stories for shareholders.

Asmodee Group will focus on tabletop game publishing and distribution, while Coffee Stain & Friends will concentrate on indie and premium/free-to-play games for various platforms. Middle-earth Enterprises & Friends will handle AAA game development and publishing for PC and console and will hold IP rights for franchises like The Lord of the Rings and Tomb Raider. Hello Kitty Partners with Fashion Designer Anna Sui for 50th Anniversary Collection

Our favorite cutie continues to influence style during her golden anniversary. Celebrating Hello Kitty's 50th anniversary, acclaimed designer Anna Sui's collaboration collection goes live on April 27, 2024, via Kuipo Online. With items priced between $25 and $120, the collection features adorable mobile accessories and bags showcasing Hello Kitty's evolution over the years. The lineup includes a tote bag, vinyl bag, smartphone shoulder bag, iPhone case, and smartphone strap.

Described as a fusion of Anna Sui's style with Hello Kitty's iconic imagery, the collection offers a special design featuring the two characters side by side. From bags to smartphone straps, the collection promises to add fun to spring outings.

This collaboration marks Sui's second partnership with Hello Kitty, following their limited-edition collection for Hello Kitty's 35th anniversary in 2007. Hello Kitty's 50th-anniversary celebrations have already begun with collaborations with McDonald's for a Happy Meal and BoxLunch for a floral range. Upcoming releases include a limited-edition glassware collection with JoyJolt, as Hello Kitty aims to claim the top spot in the Sanrio-wide character ranking poll, challenging reigning champion Cinnamoroll.

Naruto Creator Surprised by the Popularity of Two "Weaker" Characters

In a resurfaced 2016 interview with the North American division of Shonen Jump, Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, expressed surprise at the popularity of characters Sakura Haruno and Rock Lee, whom some consider to be among the weakest in the series.

When asked about Sakura and Rock Lee's popularity, Kishimoto noted that Sakura's physical weakness and Lee's reliance solely on Taijutsu might make them relatable to fans due to their representation of human weaknesses.

Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf Novels Get Anime Adaptation on Netflix

Based on Baku Yumemakura's martial arts novels, Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf is set to stream on Netflix worldwide starting May 23, 2024.

The anime follows Juzo, a fugitive with a dark past, who is compelled to participate in a perilous underground fighting tournament. Skilled in the revered martial art Takemiya-ryu, Juzo must confront formidable adversaries and his inner demons, all while evading a three million yen bounty and a persistent detective hot on his trail.

When asked which of the three leads would make the best instructor, Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto praised Sakura as the most "normal" of his "three students," suggesting she would make the best ninja instructor.
