Ultimate Anime Powers

Hey, everyone!

Here’s what’s going in the world of Anime today:

  • Twitter thread shows some of the most unexpected plot twists in anime!

  • More on the Guinness World Records official Jujutsu Kaisen post!

  • Some of the most overpowered abilities in anime history!

  • Cowboy Bebop is 25 this month?!

Another amazing Twitter thread talks about some of the best plot twists in anime!

Pushu just knows how to make the best threads on twitter, and recently he broke the internet again by talking about plot twists that no one saw coming. Titans being made the way they are was something that pretty much no one expected. Making a plot twist that works, that’s really unexpected, and that advances the storyline is no easy feat.

Yet it’s done time and time again, like in Naruto when we learned Itachi’s real motive.

Most people spent years hating Itachi, some spent their entire childhood seeing him as a bad guy who just seemingly murdered his entire family for no reason. So when we finally saw through Itachi’s eyes, when we finally learned the truth of what he did and how it pained him, it was one of the best moments in the entire Naruto series.

Guinness World Records Jujutsu Kaisen post!

Few anime become so popular that they get mentioned by THE Guinness World Records official Twitter account, but JJK has done it! Jujutsu Kaisen has beaten even One Piece in terms of popularity! It dethroned Attack on Titan as the most in demand anime in the world! That is a title that Attack on Titan has had for 4 straight years until it finally ended late last year.

That means this is an occurrence that only happens every 4 or so years, or until the most popular show ends!

Okay, dethroning Attack on Titan may not be impressive to some people but being more in demand than One Piece?! That is certainly something to be proud of, so congratulations to Jujutsu Kaisen for once again breaking the entire internet!

These are some of the most overpowered abilities in all of anime!

Sourced from Dragon Ball Super

Ultra Instinct detaches the mind from the body, allowing the body to react to everything without the mind having to process it. Even in the DragonBall universe, few can use Ultra Instinct. Out of the few who can, even few can master it. This allows the user to pretty much hit, avoid, block, or act without any hindrance at all, making it one of the most overpowered abilities ever, not even just in anime!

That is one form of an ability that would win against nearly everything, even this next entry.

Gojo’s Unlimited Void domain is an ability that, unlike the last one, targets the mind specifically. Unlimited Void fills the brain with information at a speed that completely paralyzes its target. Not to mention that inside of a domain, every attack is a guaranteed hit. This combination means that once Gojo has you in his domain, the information floods your head and freezes you in place, then Gojo does whatever he wants to you while you’re completely defenseless. The only way to avoid instant death is to not fight Gojo in the first place, or you can just use Ultra Instinct!

Cowboy Bebop is officially 25 years old!

Sourced from PrimeVideo

Cowboy Bebop is considered by most a masterpiece and by definition a classic. Netflix tried to do a reboot not long ago, which didn’t do so well but wasn’t the worst thing ever either. It certainly wasn’t as good as the anime, but live action normally isn’t. Regardless, this masterpiece of an anime is celebrating its 25th anniversary this month, or rather, it already did.

I hate to break it to you, but if you missed it, you probably missed your chances of getting one of these extremely limited-edition watches!

Sourced from Animeexplained.com

To celebrate the date, Cowboy Bebop collaborated with Kentex to craft a set of watches. The reason I called them extremely limited is because only 26 of these watches will be made, ever. One watch for each episode. A lot of people are angry about this, as Cowboy Bebop is one of the most famous anime of all time. Most people have at least heard the name. Sadly, if you want to get your hands on one of these, you’re probably going to have to cough up the big bucks to a reseller.

Did you know?

There is actually a band called SeeYouSpaceCowboy, named after many of the end credits from Cowboy Bebop. Arguably a weird name for a band, but if you ever forget the name Cowboy Bebop and instead type in “See You Space Cowboy” You’ll end up on their band page instead.

Anyway,

See You Space Cowboy…
