Chainsaw Man Scene Cameos in Deadpool
Deadpool and the Fox Devil
Marvel Comics is preparing to launch a new comic series starring Deadpool, signaling that the Merc With A Mouth's adventures transcend the confines of the silver screen. In the premiere issue of this forthcoming storyline, Wade Wilson pays homage to Chainsaw Man by recreating a pivotal scene from the acclaimed manga.
While Deadpool has yet to secure his own anime series, he has ventured into unexpected anime territory in the past, leaving fans astonished. Deadpool: Samurai marked his debut in the manga, where Wade Wilson embarked on a fresh escapade and forged an unlikely alliance with one of Shonen's prominent characters. Teaming up with My Hero Academia's All Might, Deadpool faced off against the formidable Mad Titan Thanos, bridging the gap between North American comic books and Japanese manga. Though an anime adaptation of this manga remains unconfirmed, it holds immense potential for an electrifying television series.

Amidst significant changes unfolding in Wade Wilson's life within the Marvel comics, such as the introduction of a notable addition named "Princess"—a symbiotic dog born from Deadpool and the Carnage symbiote—the preview offers a tantalizing glimpse of Wade recreating the "Kon" symbol from Chainsaw Man, an homage to Aki's summoning of the Fox Devil. Crafted by writer Cody Ziglar and illustrated by Roge Antonio, the new series is poised to captivate audiences when it hits shelves TODAY! Read more about the new title here.
My Hero Academia Studio Responds to Backlash Over Upcoming Debut Series
Bakugou, Deku, and Ochaco
In response to the fan backlash surrounding the announcement of the upcoming anime series The Magical Girl and the Evil Lieutenant Used to Be Archenemies(MahoAku), Bones studio's president, Masahiko Minami, addressed the concerns during an interview with Anime Corner. The announcement of MahoAku on Nov. 17, 2023, triggered disappointment among fans who had anticipated another high-profile action series from Bones, considering the studio's illustrious catalog. The unexpected reveal of Cocoa Fujiwara's MahoAku, a fantasy romance about lovers from opposing factions, led to widespread criticism, mainly as the series was completed posthumously.

When asked about the series' negative reception, Minami emphasized the value of diversity in their productions, stating, "In short, I treasure variety." He acknowledged that while Bones is recognized for its action, fantasy, and sci-fi works, his passion for animation lies in its expressive nature. You can read more about the controversy here.
