Top Anime Power Systems

Hey, everyone!

Here’s what’s going in the world of Anime today:

  • Haikyuu!!! The movie x Tokyo Giants collab!

  • Anime power systems ranked?!

  • New Demon Slayer game takes a Mario Party spin??

  • OtakuFest is coming back to Miami on May 17th!

Haikyuu!!! Had an amazing collab with the Tokyo Giants baseball team!

Haikyuu!! Decided to have a collab with the Tokyo Giants baseball team to celebrate the movie that’s coming out at the end of this month, on May 31st! During this event, which happened just a few days ago on the 30th of last month, a lot of new merch was released only available to people who arrived at the stadium!

They even had the voice actors for the anime commentate on the ceremonial first pitch!

That’s not all, they released several new images with the characters dressed in baseball attire and changed the ads around the stadium to fit with the Haikyuu!! theme! This was an event you just had to be there to see, but you can still find recordings of it on youtube or other official japanese websites! This isn’t the first time the Tokyo Giants have done a collab of this caliber, so make sure to keep an eye on them for what they do next!

Ranking anime power systems… Is this accurate?!

Sourced from @justmeight on Twitter

Now let’s be 100% honest here, not that many people have watched every show on this list to completion, or at least are caught up with current seasons. That definitely makes it hard to really pinpoint where these powers would be. That’s the boat I’m in, so we’re going to stay unbiased here and give this list SOME benefit of the doubt. People on Twitter both love and hate this list, which pretty much sums up the anime community in general. We all tend to gravitate more towards the shows we like more, even if power level isn’t at all even.

We can all agree that Limiter isn’t a power system, right?

Sourced from One Punch Man anime

The “Limiter” in One Punch Man is more of a concept that all humans have a limiter to limit their own power in order to prevent them from becoming too strong and losing their minds. The limiter itself doesn’t really give a power, but Saitama is the only one who has technically “Broken his limiter”. Which means, if you really want to count “Limit breaker” as a power, then what that list is saying is that breathing styles in Demon Slayer are stronger than Saitama’s powers in that person’s opinion. What do all of you think about this? Is this list valid? It’s definitely up to opinion!

There’s a new Demon Slayer game and it looks like… Mario Party?!

Sourced from @NintendoAmerica on Twitter

Everyone remembers the Demon Slayer game The Henokami Chronicles, right? It was a game where you could play as your favorite Demon Slayer characters and fight with their signature moves in an online 1v1 scenario! It was a fantastic game that even had several pretty large competitions thanks to youtubers like Globku who really kept it alive for way longer than anyone expected.

This... Well, it’s not that.

This game is out now on the Switch, so if you have a Nintendo you can pick it up anytime you want. The premise is the same as Mario Party, you go around the board collecting Rank points (sort of like stars in mario) and coins. You play minigames to compete with your friends and whoever has the most coins and ranked points at the end wins! A simple concept, but one that has kept families and friends entertained for many, many years.

It’s almost time for OtakuFest!

This year, OtakuFest has gone all out on their guest list. Some of the biggest names in anime voice acting will be there, along with Hazbin Hotel stars! OtakuFest is held in Miami, specifically the Miami Beach Convention Center and will be held all weekend from May 17th through May 19th!

What about the events, you may ask?

Sourced from the OtakuFest official website

There are 9 different cosplay and costume events alone, along with gaming competitions, autograph signings, and tons of other stuff to do! This is one of Miami’s biggest conventions of the year, so if you find yourself in the land of salt water and sand, definitely don’t miss out on this convention!

Trivia time!

In Demon Slayer’s first game Demon Slayer: The Henokami Chronicles, where did the game end?

A. Mugan Train Arc

B. Hashira Training Arc

Answer is:

A!
