Warner Bros, the studio behind so many movies and projects that no one should have to list them all, released a series of trailers showcasing a new anime they have been working on called Suicide Squad Isekai.
How in the world are they making it an Isekai?
The general synopsis of the show involve the Suicide Squad, that we all know and love, traveling through a mysterious gate that transports them into another world. Their goal is simple- Get back home before their nano-bombs go off. How they’re going to go about doing that, however, is not simple at all. The world they travel too is full of magic and monsters, all of which stand in their way. Can they make it back in 72 hours?

The trailers to this anime went over so well and have caused so many discussions that Warner Bros is planning to start mass creating anime, which hopefully are all DC related because DC really needs some love, in order to please fans.

Tokyo Ghoul holds a special place in the hearts of many, both for good and bad reasons. While the anime is beloved, it was also very hated after season 1. The main storyline of Tokyo Ghoul was partially scrapped in the anime adaptation. Not only that, but major scenes were either altered completely or censored in a way that completely demeaned the entire point the author was trying to convey.
But there is hope.
Despite the anime being over 10 years old now, there are actually rumors going around about a remake. It’s important to note that these are just rumors. They started when a Tokyo Ghoul official website was created not long ago, which currently states that they will be releasing ALL episodes of the anime on youtube for free for 2 weeks starting from April 5th and ending on April 19th.

The website does say “And More…” at the bottom, so fans are eagerly awaiting any news. We’ll keep you posted! Check it out for yourself at https://tokyoghoul-anime10th.jp
Chained Soldier season 2 officially announced!
Official Chained Soldier season 2 poster
Chained Soldier, for those who don’t know, is an anime about magical gates opening all around Japan. Inside these gates, monsters roam. Sometimes they manage to get out, which is never good. A secret lies within each gate, however. Power that can only be consumed by women. After gaining these powers groups of women team up to fight the monster threat. Yuki, the main protagonist, just happened to accidentally stumble into one of the gates and, after being put in a rather bad situation, decides to team up with squad 7.
A second season is coming but doesn’t have an official release date yet.
It’s rare for an anime to get an announcement of a second season so quickly, this is partially due to the first season being delayed a bit. It aired from January 1st- March 21st this year, despite originally being planned for last year, and received news for a second season the same day it ended.

Due to the timeframe, there should be a release date sometime by the end of this year with an expected air date of early to mid 2025.

Fun Fact:
Did you know that Sui Ishida, the creator of Tokyo Ghoul, not only wrote the series but also drew the entire manga himself?
This isn’t uncommon practice in the manga scene at all. In fact, even Eiichiro Oda is both the writer and illustrator for One Piece. It’s impressive none-the-less. To have both a talent for writing engaging stories that people love and stand by while also being a talented enough artist to draw everything from scratch is an impressive feat.
