One Punch Man 3 Trailer
Hey, everyone!
We finally got a trailer for One-Punch Man season 3 last Thursday and the hype is astounding. We don’t have a confirmed release date yet, but within the next year seems to be a good guess.
Attack on Titan the Final Season Special 2 was ranked number 4 on AnimeCorner’s best adaptation list. Despite its popularity, some fans considered the ending rather bland. But was it really not that great of an adaptation?
Here’s what’s going on in the world of anime today:
One-Punch Man finally released a trailer for season 3.
Pui Pui and Mr. Villain have a new collab?!
Attack on Titan rated only number 4 on AnimeCorner’s best adaptation of 2023.
One-Punch Man’s season 3 trailer looks awesome!
A new trailer for One-Punch Man released last Thursday, on the 29th of February. Fan reaction seems to be pretty good! J.C. Staff is coming back for season 3, which to some is a bad thing, but other than that everyone seems to be happy to be getting another season of One-Punch Man.
Fans seem to be blaming J.C. Staff for the downfall of season 2, which compared to season 1 isn’t the best. Madhouse was behind season 1, the beloved studio that is also behind HunterxHunter 2011 , No Game No Life, Death Note, etc. It seems to be the public opinion that Madhouse is who should be behind One-Punch Man.
J.C. Staff isn’t new to making anime, however. J.C. Staff has made plenty of hits such as Food Wars, ToraDora, Golden Time, etc. If you picked up the key detail here, which is that J.C. Staff doesn’t usually do intense action, then you should be able to see where other fans are going with this comparison. They will do action, and have several action anime that are loved, but they are primarily a Slice of Life/Comedy/Romance studio.
The trailer, however, is action packed and a smidge confusing. We see someone who at the end of season 2 was part of the monster association, now fighting monsters. This will be cleared up at the start of the next season, as we have also already gotten a short synopsis of the season.
Not to mention any names or spoilers, but this should paint the picture of how action packed the trailer was.
We have no official release date yet, but anytime in the next year would be a really good guess. Most likely in the 4th quarter of 2024 or 1st quarter of 2025.
Pui Pui is in a new collaboration with.. Mr. Villain?!
The General from Mr. Villain hanging out at a zoo on his day off.
Talk about an unlikely collab, this one is beyond all expectations. Pui Pui and Mr. Villain have partnered up for a short collab, according to Crunchyroll. In the image below, you can see The General giving a carrot to Patato, the main character and Guinea Pig Car from Pui Pui. This collaboration is to promote healthy snacking.

Some may have seen something like this coming, as The General does like to go look at cute things on his day’s off. It’s an odd collaboration nonetheless.
Attack on Titan ranked only 4th on AnimeCorner’s Best Adaptation of 2023 list.
Eren Yeager from the Attack on Titan Final Season Final Part movie
Regardless of if you enjoyed the Attack on Titan ending, there is no doubt that it was very faithful to the manga. From season 1 until the end, the anime followed the Manga as closely as it could, only adding things that would otherwise add to the coherence of the story itself.
Spoilers here.
One of the biggest changes was the scene between Armin and Eren having a heart to heart that is shown only after Eren is beheaded. In the manga, Armin seemingly thanks Eren for committing mass murder. This is completely out of character for Armin, and even the author of Attack on Titan said so. They changed this in the anime so that Armin takes accountability as well, saying “We did this.” and thanking Eren for showing him that life outside the walls was possible.
So what beat Attack on Titan if the adaptation only added good things to the story?
The top 4 list goes as followed:
Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
The Dangers in My Heart
Bungo Stray Dogs season 5
Attack on Titan The Final Season Final Chapter
Frieren Wins Best Adaptation 2023
While some aren’t going to think it’s fair that an anime that started airing in September and wasn’t even done airing by the end of the year won best adaptation of the year, it’s clear that many people disagree. What do you think?
Did you know…
Saitama from One-Punch Man is actually named after a real life prefecture in Japan? Not only that, but the Japanese Kanji for Saitama (埼玉) has a rather funny meaning. “埼” is roughly translated to “Cape” while “玉” is roughly translate to “Ball”. One, the nickname for the author of One-Punch Man, did this on purpose, creating the caped baldy we love today.
