Hulu Premieres English Dub of Ishura Anime
Sojiro the Willow-Sword
The Ishura anime's official website and social media channel have unveiled two brand new visuals in anticipation of the anime's premiere on January 3rd, 2024. The series will air on Japanese TV and stream worldwide on Disney+ on the same day, except in the US, where it will be available on Hulu.
The newly released visuals showcase two distinct perspectives featuring the main cast: one from the countryside and another from the village, depicting the characters preparing for battle. Additionally, a pixel art visual has been released to mark the premiere date, portraying the characters in a video game style.
New Key Visuals
The Ishura anime is based on light novels written by Keiso, illustrated by Kureta, and published by ASCII Media Works under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint. An English version of the series is available from Yen Press. You can read more about the release here.

The anime concluded its second season earlier this year, gaining widespread popularity with one of the most viral opening themes of the year. The series ended during the Divine Visionary Arc, leaving much of Hajime Komoto's original manga yet to be adapted, sparking speculation about a continuation.
Fans' hopes have been answered as a new sequel project has been officially announced. While the announcement confirms that Mashle: Magic and Muscles will return, many details remain undisclosed. It still needs to be determined whether the new project will be a third season of the TV anime, an OVA special, or a potential feature film. No release window, date, or staff information has been revealed. However, fans can watch the announcement teaser for the sequel anime project here, which features footage from the first two seasons.
