However, it is now officially announced that the show will receive a new sequel edition.

Although little is known about the new series, the original creator, Yuji Terajima, posted a unique illustration on the series' social media to commemorate its impending debut. If you're unfamiliar with the series, Crunchyroll airs the whole Ace of Diamond series, and here's what the streaming platform's first episode of Ace of Diamond Act II has to offer in terms of plot: "Seido baseball club is invited to the spring invitational in Koshien Stadium, the famous stage. Sawamura gets to stand on the mound at last! Shin stands for Seido and the national softball championships champions from last summer, Komadai Fujimaki, and their unstoppable ace, Masamune Hongo. Official Zoro Prequel Trailer Released for One Piece

Roronoa Zoro

It was announced in late April that Roronoa Zoro of the Straw Hat Pirates would receive a prequel focusing on his early history as a Pirate Hunter. The One Piece series has released a trailer for this upcoming spinoff.

The official One Piece magazine account uploaded the first promotional teaser for ZORO - Josho Sasakaze on X (formerly Twitter). X user @/pewpiece provided a trailer translation: "The resolute swordsman Roronoa Zoro, who aims to become the world's greatest swordsman, makes his mark in Shimotsuki Village. Studio Eclypse Unveils Debut Trailer for Berserk: The Black Swordsman

Guts

Berserk: The Black Swordsman, a highly anticipated fan anime project by Studio Eclypse, premiered its first main trailer worldwide on May 17th, 2024, to widespread acclaim. Studio Eclypse shared the world premiere of the trailer on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube, garnering an extremely positive reception. The action-packed and characteristically gory trailer is approximately three minutes long and prominently features the legendary swordsman Guts, with brief appearances by Casca, Puck, and Griffith.

Studio Eclypse Announcement Post

The release of the Berserk: The Black Swordsman trailer follows months of teasers, starting with the first key art late last year and continuing with the most recent Guts key art earlier this month. The trailer showcases the character in his iconic cape and wielding a crossbow.

Berserk: The Black Swordsman emerged as a fan response to the lack of a faithful adaptation of the "Black Swordsman Arc," despite numerous opportunities. CBR's article, Berserk Deserves a New & Faithful Anime Adaptation, details the series' troubled history, noting how many adaptations following the original 1997 anime received mixed to poor reception. Studio Eclypse's creators have expressed their dedication to creating a proper 2D adaptation of these stories, starting from the beginning, and emphasized that this fan-made project is undertaken with the utmost respect for the late Kentaro Miura, Studio Gaga, and Hakusensha.
