The Kingdoms of Ruin Anime Gets an Online Game
Doroka and Adonis
The Kingdoms of Ruin production team began adapting Yoruhashi's manga in October 2023. Now, CTW Inc. has announced its plans to turn the series into a video game called The Kingdoms of Ruin: Endless Rebellion, an MMORPG browser game.
For those unfamiliar, here's a quick summary of the plot:
Witches once brought wisdom and peace to humanity. But when the Redia Empire started focusing on science over magic, witches were seen as obstacles to progress and were hunted down. Adonis, a human raised by a witch named Chloe, wants revenge on the people who took his mentor away. Can anything good come out of this cycle of violence and despair?
The Kingdoms of Ruin: Endless Rebellion Key Visual
Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English, and Crunchyroll streams anime released on October 6, 2023.
This new game will have PvE (Player versus Environment) and PvP (Player versus Player) action. Players can play it on their PCs, browsers, or tablets. They're also making an English version, and here's what CTW Inc. says about the game:
You play as the main character, Adonis, who uses summoning magic in a written style. You'll train companions, making them stronger magically, and team up to get revenge on humanity through different PvP and PvE challenges.

SPY x FAMILY Already Gave Fans the Fight They've Waited For... Sorta
Yor and Loid
Since SPY x FAMILY introduced the concept of its fabricated family dynamic, fans eagerly awaited a showdown between Loid and Yor. The manga hinted at their potential clash due to their covert allegiance to opposing factions. What may surprise anime enthusiasts is that the manga delivered on this anticipated confrontation, albeit with a twist.
In chapter #79 of the manga, translated by Casey Loe, a version of Loid versus Yor unfolds. After assisting her colleagues at work, Yor joins them for drinks. In her inebriated state, she contemplates the absence of marital discord, prompting her to envision killing Loid to maintain the illusion of normalcy in their relationship. This sets the stage for a dramatic face-off between them, with Yor assuming the persona of Thorn Princess and Loid as Twilight.
SPY x FAMILY Manga – Chapter #79
However, it's revealed that Yor's imagined battle with Loid was just a product of her intoxicated mind. Nonetheless, the setup feels plausible, given the groundwork laid by the series for their potential confrontation.
SPY x FAMILY Anime – Episode #5
A genuine showdown between Loid and Yor would undoubtedly be a significant event in SPY x FAMILY. Episode #5 of the anime showcased a tipsy Yor engaging in a mock fight with Loid, orchestrated by Loid himself for Anya's entertainment. Despite not putting in total effort, Yor demonstrated her dominance from the outset, only to be thwarted by her clumsiness and subsequent slumber. While Loid wasn't aiming to harm Yor, the encounter hints that if a real confrontation were to occur, Yor might emerge victorious. Nevertheless, the prospect of witnessing such a clash remains intriguing, even if we never want to see this happy little family split up.
SAND LAND Gets Official Dub Release Date
Sand Land Key Visual
Sand Land, the last anime creation from the late Akira Toriyama, is gearing up for its English dub release sooner than expected. The series is slated to comprise 13 episodes, with the initial six episodes faithfully adapting Toriyama's manga. And while fans of Toriyama's work have been captivated by the subtitled version of the anime, those awaiting the English version won't have to wait much longer.
For those unaware, the narrative of Sand Land revolves around Sheriff Rao, an enigmatic old man on a quest to locate a legendary water spring in the desert. He forms an unlikely alliance with demons Beelzebub and Thief along the way. As their bond strengthens, perceptions and reputations are challenged while a nefarious plot orchestrated by Sand Land's corrupt government begins to unravel.
English-speaking audiences can catch the first two episodes of the Sand Land anime dubbed in English on Hulu and Disney+ starting TODAY!
Did you know?
In Sand Land, the Demons are NOT the bad guys!
Beelzebub
Despite the presence of demons like Beelzebub and even literal Satan, they hardly fit the archetype of malevolent entities. Instead, they lean more toward mischief rather than genuine evil. The extent of their misdeeds typically revolves around pilfering from water delivery trucks, and even then, it's only enough to sustain themselves. Beelzebub explicitly states to Rao that demons have never killed a human, suggesting that blame often unjustly falls upon them when things go awry.
King and Commander Zeu
In stark contrast, the true villainy within the series emanates from the greed and corruption embodied by figures like the King and Commander Zeu.
